FULLERTON, Calif. – With only four games remaining on the Cal State Fullerton women's basketball regular season schedule, each contest becomes magnified in the Big West standings, and for seeding in the Big West Women's Basketball Tournament.

The Titans (14-11, 6-6 BWC) are currently tied with Long Beach State for fourth place in the Big West standings.  On Thursday, February 27, the Titans will travel east to UC Riverside (8-18, 4-8 BWC) for a 5:00 p.m. ESPN3 doubleheader broadcast from the SRC Arena.

On Saturday, February 29, Fullerton will return to historic Titan Gym to host Hawai'i in a 6:00 p.m. leap day match-up.  Hawai'i (14-11, 8-4 BWC) is alone in second place in the conference standings.

The Titan starting five are led by three-time Big West Player of the Week, Raina Perez, who is first in the Big West, and seventh in the nation in points per game with a 20.8 average.  Guard Taylor Turney is averaging 13.8 points per game, 5.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists.  Forward Amiee Book is averaging 12.0 points and 5.5 boards.  Junior forward Carolyn Gill is averaging 6.4 rebounds per game to go with her 8.6 points.  And center Madison Freemon is posting 5.1 points and 3.8 boards per night.

Cal State Fullerton leads the Big West Conference (All Games) in scoring offense (69.0 points per game) and field goal percentage (.438).  This is the latest in the regular season that a Titans women's basketball team has been above .500 overall since 1990-91.  With two more regular season wins, Fullerton can be assured of their first winning season since 1990-91.
