NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – With 11 lead changes, it was a wild one in Northridge on Thursday night, but the Matadors ultimately prevailed 57-63 in overtime.   Fullerton's (10-6, 2-1 BWC) loss snapped their six-game winning streak, and gave CSUN the sole berth atop the Big West standings.

Three Titans scored in double-figures, led by Amiee Book with 22 points and 13 rebounds.  Carolyn Gill logged in 13 points to go with five assists.  Raina Perez was smothered by the Matador defense all night, but still managed to score 11 points and deliver four assists.  Taylor Turney hauled down 11 boards to go with seven points.

Fullerton outrebounded CSUN 51-40, but some other statistics were very telling:  The Titans committed a season-high 29 turnovers, which led to 29 CSUN points.  The Titans only scored five points off of the 14 CSUN turnovers.  The five Titan starters combined for 55 of the 57 Fullerton points.  Ashlee Ane's two points would be the only bench scoring produced in over 28 minutes of combined play.

Cal State Fullerton will regroup and jet off to Honolulu to play at the University of Hawai'i on Saturday, January 18 at 7:30 p.m. PT.
