FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team (5-5, 0-0 BWC) will return to Titan Gym on Friday, December 13 to face the Cal Baptist Lancers (7-4) in a 7:00 p.m. non-conference contest.
The Titans are coming off of a gritty come-from-behind 72-67 victory at the University of San Diego on Saturday afternoon. The Titans shot an impressive 50.0% from the floor, including a season-best 6-11 (54.5%) from 3-point range.
Cal Baptist has already played a schedule full of Big West opponents, with wins over Long Beach State, Cal State Northridge and UC Santa Barbara. They recently lost to city rival UC Riverside.
Fullerton will be led by redshirt-junior guard Raina Perez, who leads the Big West Conference, and is #nine in the nation in points per game with a 22.1 average. Additionally, she is fourth in the league with 4.1 assists. Forward Joy Krupa is the number two rebounder in the conference with a 10.7 average. Taylor Turney is averaging 10.7 points, and her 4.5 assists average ranks third in the league.
The Titans have only faced the Lancers once in their history. Fullerton was a 79-65 winner last season in Riverside.
PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
