Cal State Fullerton redshirt junior guard Raina Perez was named Big West women's basketball player of the week on Monday afternoon. Perez, a native of Goodyear, Arizona was a preseason all-conference selection.
In games at LMU and San Diego State, Perez led all Titans in scoring with 29 and 22 points respectively and averaged a 50% shooting percentage in the two games. In Fullerton's exciting overtime win at LMU, Perez added five assists and hauled down six rebounds in her 41 minutes. 15 of her 29 points came in the fourth quarter or in overtime to seal the victory. Perez has scored over 20 points in each of her last three games.
After opening the season with four consecutive road games, the Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team will return to Titan Gym on Wednesday to face Utah State in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
