SAN DIEGO, Calif. – After impressive back-to-back wins at UNLV and LMU, the Titans came up short at San Diego State on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Aztecs 45 to 55.  Raina Perez led the Titans with 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists.  Megan Nieto added nine points from the bench.

After scoring 27 points at LMU on Friday night, Amiee Book was held scoreless in 31 minutes of play.  It was a poor shooting afternoon for Fullerton in general, as the Titans shot 27.9% from the floor.  Of the 19 field goals made, Raina Perez accounted for nine of them.  The Titans, however, put in the work defensively, as they held the Aztecs to a 30.5% shooting percentage.  This helped to keep Fullerton in the contest for most of the game.

The Titans (2-2, 0-0 BWC) will open their home season on Wednesday, November 20, when they host Utah State in a 7:00 p.m. contest in Titan Gym.
