CEDAR CITY, Utah – The Titans fell at Southern Utah 79 – 63 this afternoon. The Fullerton cause was not helped by 17 Titan turnovers and 13 Southern Utah offensive rebounds.
Sophomore Amiee Book led the Titan offense with 27 points on 10-for-16 shooting. Book also hauled down seven rebounds. Redshirt Junior Raina Perez contributed 13 points for Fullerton. Taylor Turney added 8 points. 12 Titans played in the contest. Amiee Book and Raina Perez led the team with 36 and 34 minutes respectively.
Cal State Fullerton shot 24-59 (40.7%) from the floor, and 7-18 (38.9%) from behind the three-point arc. The Titans were outrebounded by the Thunderbirds 39-26.
Fullerton will bus back to Las Vegas for a 4:00 p.m. contest with UNLV on Saturday afternoon at the famed Thomas & Mack Center. The Lady Rebels were 12-18 in 2018-19, and the game with the Titans will serve as their season opener. UNLV is a former member of the Big West / PCAA. The Titans are 8-34 all-time versus the Lady Rebels.
The Titans will open their home season on Wednesday, November 20, when they host Utah State in a 7:00 p.m. game.
PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm). After 5pm on Friday, permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
