FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team will prepare for the coming season by playing an exhibition game on Saturday afternoon with Biola University. Tip-Off will commence at 1:00 p.m. Biola, from nearby La Mirada, Calif., competes at the Division II level.

The Titans will be led by returning starters, redshirt junior Raina Perez (13.0 ppg. / 5.0 assists / 1.5 steals), sophomore Amiee Book (9.7 ppg. / 4.3 rpg.), and junior Carolyn Gill (6.5 ppg. / 7.7 rpg.). With no seniors on the roster, the exhibition game will be a great opportunity for head coach Jeff Harada to evaluate his young squad versus a live opponent. Several first-year Titan players will be looking to demonstrate their skills and system knowledge in order to earn playing time.

The Eagles are piloted by fifth-year head coach Alan Nakamura. Biola finished the 2018-19 season at 11-17, and in sixth place in the PacWest Conference. Biola will be led by Tatum Brimley (9.8 ppg. / 1.9 assists), Jazz Benn (12.1 ppg. / 5.04 rpg.), and Mikayla Greens (8.1 ppg. / 6.1 rpg.).  Last night Biola fell to Pepperdine 77-49 in exhibition action.  Jelissa Puckett led Biola with 11 points.

General admission tickets are $5.  Cal State Fullerton students are free.

The Titans will begin the regular season on the road with nonconference games at Southern Utah on November 7, and at UNLV on November 9.
