NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton suffered their second consecutive tough loss falling to CSUN by a score of 74-44 on Thursday night. The Titans move to 11-8 overall and 3-3 in conference action.
Carolyn Gill led the Titans filling out the stat sheet nicely with 13 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks, and two assists. It's her fourth double-double of the season and fifth of her career.

She was the only scorer in double-figures with Jade Vega being the next closest with nine points to go along with four assists.
The Titans got on the board first as Amiee Book drained a corner three on the first possession of the game.

Unfortunately for Fullerton, that lead did not last and once CSUN took control, they held it. As a team, the Titans shot just 29.2% from the field and 12.5% from three. They were also outscored 26-46 on points in the paint. On the defensive side of things, the Titans could not stop the Matadors as they shot 50% or better in three of the four quarters including a 62.5% mark in the fourth.
The Titans will look to put this one behind them as they host rival Long Beach on Saturday in an Orange Out. Tip-off is at 6:00 p.m.
