Fullerton (4-17, 1-7 BWC) has lost four in a row, while the Aggies improve to 15-6 overall and 7-2 in league play.

The Titans were within striking distance, trailing 36-29 after three quarters, but the Aggies outscored CSF, 23-10 in the fourth quarter to put the game away.

During the final 10 minutes, Fullerton turned the ball over six times, while UC Davis shot 53.3 percent from the floor as seven of its final eight baskets came from long distance.

Cal State Fullerton sophomore center Daeja Smith just missed out on a double-double, scoring a team-leading 10 points to go along with nine rebounds and three assists. Sophomore guard Jade Vega added eight points, six boards and three dishes.

The Aggies were led by Pele Gianotti's 14-point effort as she knocked down four three-pointers in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Rachel Nagel scored 11 points and added five rebounds and five assists, while Kourtney Eaton dished a game-high seven assists.

UC Davis entered the game shooting 45.0 percent from the floor, but the Titans held the Aggies well below their average at .343 (23-of-67). Unfortunately, UC Davis took advantage of Fullerton's 24 turnovers, scoring 21 points off Titan miscues.

Fullerton will play its next two games on the road beginning with UC Santa Barbara on Wednesday and followed by Long Beach State on Thursday, Feb. 9.

Notes: UC Davis has swept Cal State Fullerton for the 2016-17 season…UC Davis leads the all-time series 16-10…Fullerton's 39 points were its lowest season scoring total since a 61-26 loss at Wyoming on Nov. 20.
