THIS WEEK
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team will hit the road this week to play at Wyoming on Sunday before completing the excursion at Denver on Tuesday. 

WEEKLY RECAP
Cal State Fullerton suffered a 103-50 loss in its season opener on Friday at San Diego, but responded to play well in Monday's narrow 88-86 loss to Idaho at Titan Gym.

IMAN EMERGES
Cal State Fullerton junior guard Iman Lathan has hit the ground running for the Titans, her first season with the program after transferring from Nevada. Lathan started her CSF career with 20 points against San Diego, then followed that up with a career-best 27-point outing against Idaho. Lathan's 23.5 points per game average is the best in the Big West Conference after the first weekend of play.

CRASHING THE BOARDS
Senior Dhanyel Johnson has led the Titans in rebounds in the team's first two games of the season averaging 9.0 rebounds per game, which ranks fifth in the Big West Conference.

THE LAST TIME...
Cal State Fullerton opened the season 0-2 was the 2014-15 campaign.

THIS WEEK IN THE NEWS
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team welcomed four commits to the program as high school seniors Laura Dalton, Xinavane Foreman, Carolyn Gill and Mason VanHouten each signed National Letters of Intent to begin their respective collegiate careers at Fullerton for the 2017-18 season, it was announced by fourth-year head coach Daron Park on Wednesday.

GAME NOTES
From Monday's 88-86 loss to Idaho: Cal State Fullerton last scored at least 86 points in an 86-79 victory over North Dakota State on December 19, 2014.

From Friday's 103-50 loss at San Diego: The last team to score at least 103 points against Cal State Fullerton was Oregon in a 117-69 loss in Eugene on Nov. 27, 2009…the last team to defeat the Titans by at least 53 points was UC Santa Barbra in a 79-24 loss on Feb. 21, 2001

• Wyoming edged Cal State Fullerton 61-56 in overtime last season at Titan Gym en route to a 13-16 overall record with a 6-12 mark in the Mountain West Conference.

• The Cowgirls (2-1) are coming off a 59-49 home victory over Denver on Thursday night.
• Rachelle Tucker leads Wyoming averaging 10.0 points per game.

DENVER NOTES
• Totaled a 5-25 overall record last season as well as a mark of 3-13 in the Summit League.
• Enters Tuesday's game against Fullerton with a 1-2 record after suffering a 59-49 loss at Wyoming on Thursday.

ROSTER OVERHAUL
Cal State Fullerton had seven players, including four starters, depart the program following the 2015-16 season. Fourth-year head coach Daron Park brought in four newcomers, while three players that redshirted a year ago are now eligible and healthy.
Expected to help immediately are redshirt junior guards Iman Lathan (Nevada) and Jordan Jackson (Central Florida). Each sat out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer rules. In addition, 6-foot-3 redshirt sophomore Daeja Smith is back on the court after missing last year with an injury.
New to the program includes freshman guard Keimeshia Walker, freshman forward Onyx Henderson, redshirt junior guard China Henderson and freshman forward Mia Gallo.

THE RETURNERS
Fullerton returns to the floor with just one starter from last year, 5-foot-5 sophomore guard, Jade Vega, who averaged 7.6 points per game and led the team in both assists (80/2.67 per game) and steals (38/1.27 per game).
In total, the Titans only return three letterwinners with sophomore guard Lauren Nubla and senior center Dhanyel Johnson back on the floor. Nubla played in 29 games making 14 starts, averaging 3.9 points per game, while Johnson appeared in 26 games averaging 3.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game shooting 60.0 percent (30-of-50) from the floor.

LAST TIME OUT
The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team knocked down 11 three-pointers in Monday night's home opener from Titan Gym, but Idaho nailed 15 buckets from long distance and held on for an 88-86 victory.
Fullerton (0-2) was led by Iman Lathan's 27 points on 13-of-23 shooting as the junior guard added seven rebounds and four assists after triumphantly returning to the floor from an early first quarter injury.
Sophomore guard Jade Vega hit four three-pointers en route to a 16-point effort, while junior guard Jordan Jackson poured in 14 points, draining four three-pointers and leading the Titans with six assists.

Tickets for all Titans home games can be purchased online at FullertonTitans.com, or at the Cal State Fullerton Athletics Ticket Office, located in the Titan House on campus off of Gymnasium Drive on the northeast side of Titan Gym. Game day sales and will call tickets will open one hour prior to the scheduled time at the specific venue. All Cal State Fullerton students with a school ID get free admission.
