Meet the Juniors

FULLERTON, Calif. – FullertonTitans.com, in partnership with @WBBTitans, continues to introduce Titans fans to the 2016-17 Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team prior to Friday's season opener at San Diego.

Today (Tuesday), we meet the junior class.

Iman Lathan | G | RS-Jr. | 5-9 | Temecula, Calif. | Nevada
Scored 14 points knocking down 6-of-8 from the free-throw line in the Nov. 1 exhibition victory over Hope International…redshirted the 2015-16 season at CSF due to NCAA transfer rules…as a sophomore at Nevada, was fourth on the team in scoring averaging 6.6 points per game...led the team with 62 assists.
What HC Daron Park says:
Iman sat out last season due to NCAA transfer regulations, so she is just unbelievably enthusiastic and excited to get out on the floor and to have an impact not only on our team but in the Big West Conference. She is physical. She is explosive. She is determined and really excited. She was brought in to be a major contributor to this program, so I am expecting to see that from day one.

Jordan Jackson | G | RS-Jr. | 5-8 | Pasadena, Calif. | Central Florida
Led the Titans scoring a game-high 23 points while also nabbing a game-best six steals in the Nov. 1 exhibition win over Hope International…redshirted the 2015-16 season at CSF due to NCAA transfer rules… as a sophomore in 2014-15 at Central Florida, appeared in 21 games, averaging 1.2 points in 6.4 minutes per game.
What HC Daron Park says:

Jordan also had to sit out for a year like Iman. We have identified those two players as program changers for this team. Jordan worked really hard last year to become a more consistent shooter, and she is a scorer and playmaker. She and Iman complement each other so well that I think they are going to have an incredible breakout year in this conference. I am excited for everyone to see them play.

China Henderson | G | RS-Jr. | 5-7 | Atlanta, Ga. | Georgia Highlands College
Recorded a double-double in the exhibition win over Hope International on Nov. 1 scoring 14 points and adding 11 rebounds…sister, Onyx, is a freshman on the team… as a freshman at Georgia Highlands College, averaged 10.0 points per game before missing her sophomore season with a knee…returned for her redshirt sophomore campaign in 2016, as Georgia Highlands reached the second round of the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship.
What HC Daron Park says:
China has been a pleasant surprise for us. She has exceeded what the coaches said about her. China has come in and worked hard, and she brings a lot of experience to our program having spent three years at a junior college. She understands the game and picks up things very quickly. The transition to Division I has been fairly easy for her, and I am expecting big things from her this year.
