RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Freshman Michelle Berry recorded her 12th double-double as the Titans dropped their last game of the season at UC Riverside, 45-69 at the SRC Arena on Saturday night.

The Titans (3-27, 1-15 BWC) finished tied for eighth in the Big West Conference standings with UC Irvine, but lost out on continuing their season by virtue of a coin flip which served as the tiebreaker. The Anteaters will move on to the Big West Conference Tournament.

Berry recorded 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds while Samantha Logan almost recorded her fourth-straight double-digit game with nine points on Saturday.

The Titans were stunned from behind the arc only making 4-21 from behind the three-point line after going 12-30 from the three in their previous game against CSUN.

The Titans got off to a hot start against the Big West leading Highlanders, outscoring them in the first quarter 14-8 and taking their largest lead of the game by 10.

Yet the Highlanders came back in the second quarter, holding the Titans to only four points in the second ten minutes of play, taking the 32-18 lead into half.

After a strong showing in the last few games, UCR held Logan to only 3-12 from behind the arc.

Riverside's offense kicked it up a notch in the second half, scoring 37 points total and coming back with 20 in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Titans 20-14 and taking the 52-32 lead heading into the final quarter of play.

The Titans attempted to cut the lead in the final quarter, putting up 13 points but it wasn't enough as UCR held them off with 17 of their own, beating the Titans 69-45 on their Senior Day.

With the win, UCR finished undefeated in Big West play to claim the #1 seed in the Big West Tournament.
