MISSOULA, Mont. – Michelle Berry and Karima Gabriel each posted their fifth double-digit point game as the Titans fell to Montana 86-51 at Dahlberg Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Berry scored 18 points and Gabriel scored 11 points to lead the Titans as they dropped their seventh-straight game to conclude their four game road trip.

"Credit the Lady Griz. They came out and really were the aggressors today and got us on our heels early," said head coach Daron Park. "We are still learning to compete."

The Titans jumped on the board first thanks to Gabriel who put their first four points up before giving up 12 to Montana in the first period. After a timeout, Fullerton quickly got back in the game with a seven-point run to cut the deficit to 11-14.

Yet Montana held on to finish the first period with a 22-14 lead, Gabriel and Berry combined for 11 of the Titans points.

The second period brought on the worst period so far this season for the Titans, allowing the Grizzlies to outscore them 31-7. The Grizzlies took a 33-point advantage in the second period, also the largest deficit thus far this season.

The 31 points allowed is the most the Titans have allowed in a single period so far this season.

All seven of the Titans points in the second period were scored off of free throws, four of them coming off the hands of Portia Neale.

The Titans stepped it up in the second half as they were only outscored 33-30, but it wasn't enough to come back as Fullerton dropped its seventh-straight.

The Titans couldn't hold back Montana as they had four Grizzlies in double-digit points, including Kayleigh Valley and McCalle Feller who had 20 and 18 points respectively.

The Titans recorded season-lows of 14.3% from behind the arc in the absence of Dani Craig and a low of 27 rebounds en route to their third lowest scoring game this season.

It's a hard stretch we are in right now and the only we we will come out of this is to keep fighting and working to improve everyday," said Park.

Fullerton returns to Titan Gym this Wednesday night as they host the University of San Diego at 7 p.m.
