BOZEMAN, Mont. – Four Titans scored double-digit points as Cal State Fullerton lost their sixth-straight game in a 89-66 loss against Montana State in Worthington Arena on Thursday night.

The homecoming for Coach Park was spoiled as the Titans (2-6) were outshot in every category and allowed the most points in a single game so far this season with the Bobcats' 89 points.

"I'm certainly disappointed in the outcome but proud of our fight tonight. This is a marathon for this young team and the challenge is to be better every game," said third-year head coach Daron Park. "We have a long way to go but we were better today than we were our last time out."

Michelle Berry paved the way offensively, scoring 19 points while Dani Craig, Sami Logan and Karima Gabriel all pitched in 15,12 and 11 points as well, respectively.

Craig logged her fifth double-digit game of the season while making five three-point buckets.

The Bobcats were the first to get on the scoreboard as they hit a three-point shot early in the first period. Right away the responded with back-to-back three's from Logan and Craig to lead the Titans to an 11-5 run in the first period, taking their largest lead of the game.

Yet five turnovers in the first period came back to haunt the Titans as they gave up an 11-point run in the last two minutes to give the Bobcats the 10-point advantage at the end of the first period.

In the second period the Titans were left playing catch up as the Bobcats held their lead all through the second period, ending the first half with a 17-point lead.

Berry ended the first half with 15 points while Logan and Craig each hit two three's to chip in for the first half.

The third period brought on the most points in a period for the Titans as they scored 18 en route to a potential come back. After scoring 15 points in the first half, the Bobcats held Berry to only four for the remainder of the game.

With that being said, Craig stepped up as she added three more from behind the arc in the second half, to total her five three-pointers on the night.

Yet the fight of the Titans wasn't enough as Montana State couldn't be stopped, reaching their largest lead at 27 in the fourth and final period.

Guards Peyton Ferris and Delaney Junkermier led the way for the Bobcats, scoring 19 and 18 points respectively in their efforts to shut down the Titans.

The Titans stay in Big Sky Country as they take on the University of Montana Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon at 12:00 pm PST.

NOTES: Tonight's four Titans with double-digits points is only the second time that's happened this season, the first time being at Pepperdine… The 66 points tonight is the most the Titans have scored since their 75-81 loss at Pepperdine… Amanda Tivenius tied a season-high with seven rebounds tonight… The 27-point deficit in the fourth period is the largest the Titans have allowed so far this season…
