Four Titans Earn All-Big West Conference Honors

Irvine, Calif. - Senior Jose Barragan earned a first-team berth to top the four Cal State Fullerton men's soccer players selected to the coaches' All-Big West Conference team announced today.

Barragan (Long Beach, CA / Compton College) led the Titans with 7 goals and 17 points to improve from his honorable mention status of 2004. Junior Aaron Craggs (Yorkshire, England / Judson College) made the second team and honorable mention went to juniors Eugene Brooks (El Paso, TX / Bel Air HS) and Taylor Sheldrick (Palmdale, CA / Quartz Hills HS).

Player of the Year honors went to Brad Evans of UC Irvine (offense), Daniel Paladini of CSU Northridge (midfielder), Andy Iro of UC Santa Barbara (defense), Kevin Guppy of CSUN (goalkeeper) and Eric Avila of UCSB (freshman of the year). Terry Davila of CSUN and Tim Vom Steeg of UCSB were named co-coaches of the year.
