Titans in Quick Rematch with Highlanders

Titans in Quick Rematch with Highlanders

Oct. 17, 2007

Riverside, Calif. - The hard-luck Cal State Fullerton men's soccer team tests the fortunes of Riverside County Wedneday afternoon when the Titans play a quick rematch with UC Riverside at 3 p.m.

Last Wednesday night the Highlanders scored a 1-0 victory in Fullerton over the Titans, who have suffered four one-goal losses and earned a tie in five conference matches.

The Titans will be starting Kevin Puder at goalkeeper. He returns from an injury just in time to fill in for starter Brent Douglas, who must sit out after a red card was issued in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to UC Irvine.

UCR is 4-3-4 overall and 1-1-2 in conference. The Highlanders most recenty tied Cal State Northridge, 0-0.
