SERIES HISTORIES: Fullerton and UC Davis met for the first time ever last year with the Titans logging a 1-0 victory on Oct. 9 in Davis on a Steve Moreno goal. But the Titans and Rebels have a long history with Fullerton holding a 15-12-2 advantage. UC Santa Barbara (21-16-2) and UC Irvine (16-9-6) are the only opponents the Titans have beaten more often. Conversely, only UCSB and UCI and UCLA (7-24-1) have beaten the Titans more often than the Rebels. The teams have not met since 2000 when Fullerton posted a 2-1 win in Fullerton.

ABOUT THE AGGIES: Much like Sunday's opponent, UC Davis is also looking to snap a skid that has seen the Aggies go winless in its last four matches losing three straight matches to Denver, UC Irvine, and UC Riverside following a 1-1 tie on the road against Air Force. Freshman midfielder/forward Dan Campbell leads the team with two goals and four points, leading a cast of five other Aggies who have found the back of the net. Charles Warne and Derek Shaffer have split time in net for UC Davis.

ABOUT THE REBELS: UNLV is looking to break out of a recent slump that has seen the Rebels drop its last four consecutive matches and be outscored by a 13-5 margin - including three shutout losses. UNLV, which is 0-3 on the road, is led offensively by senior midfielder Rod Dyachenko, who has scored three of the Rebels' nine goals this season and leads the side with 19 shots. Peter Clitheroe has started seven of the team's eight matches in net and has a 2.70 goals against average to go with 35 saves.

ABOUT THE TITANS: Fullerton got two first-half goals against Air Force to match the total it accumulated (including a San Jose State own goal) in the first five matches of the season. But it took an overtime goal by Arron Craggs, his second of the match, to nail down the victory. Earl Alexander scored the first goal of the night and assisted on Craggs' first score.

CRAGGS NAMED BIG WEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Cal State Fullerton junior midfielder Arron Craggs was named the Big West Conference Player of the Week on Monday (Sept. 26) after his two-goal performance lifted the Titans to their first win of the season. The Judson College transfer and Yorkshire, England, matched the Titans' season offensive output all by himself against Air Force on Sept. 23. His first goal in the 33rd minute gave his side the early 2-1 lead, but it was his golden goal game-winner in the third minute of overtime that clinched Fullerton's first victory of the 2005 campaign. Craggs leads the team in scoring with his two goals and four points.
