Davis, CAlif. - UC Davis scored twice in the first 11 minutes and added another goal 13 minutes later and the big early advantage held up for a 4-0 non-conference men's soccer victory Friday afternoon over Cal State Fullerton.
The Aggies improved to 3-4-0 while the Titans fell to 2-3-1 after a 2-0 start.
Fullerton, playing its sixth road game in as many outings, plays its home opener Sunday at 2 p.m. vs. Maine.
Paul Marcoux put Davis on the board at 5:33 and Quincy Amarikwa scored at 10:34 and 23:32 to put the Aggies comfortably ahead. Ian Conklin added the final goal with less than 4 minutes to play.
Charles Warne logged the shutout for Davis with 6 saves. Brent Douglas made 4 saves for the Titans.
