CSF: Eric Escobedo (ess-koh-BAY-doh) has been a
regular performer for the Titans in each of his first two
collegiate seasons... Appeared in all 21 matches in 2010, 14 as a
starter... Had one assist, on Antonio Vernaschi's game-winning goal
in overtime over UC Santa Barbara on Sept. 29... In 2009 he
appeared in 16 of the Titans' 19 matches, 3 as a starter... Sat out
a redshirt season in 2008... He is a very technically sound soccer
player and is expected to continue to do well in the Titan
program... Changed his jersey number from 31 to 13... Is a product
of the Chivas USA Academy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year varsity letterman for
Coach Orlando Brenes at Bell Gardens High School in Bell Gardens,
California... Was team's most improved player as a junior but did
not play his senior season... Made the Principal's Honor Roll and
had perfect attendance for his high school tenure.

PERSONAL: Born on July 16, 1990, in Bell Gardens,
California... Parents are Francisco and Maribel Escobedo... Has two
brothers (Francisco and Ramon) and one sister (Crystal)... Liberal
