CSF: Tyler Andrews appeared in only one match
in 2008 ( 3 minutes at UC Riverside in season finale) after being
the No. 2 keeper behind Brent Douglas in 2007, when he appeared in
5 matches, 3 as a starter... Made 15 saves in 409 minutes and had a
goals against average of 2.20... Got his lone victory in a 2-1
overtime win at Coastal Carolina on Sept. 23... Played all 110
minutes in a 1-1 tie with Cal State Northridge on Oct. 3... Took a
redshirt season as a true freshman in 2006.
HIGH SCHOOL: First-team all-league and
second-team All-CIF selection at Woodcrest Christian High School in
Riverside for Coach Nathan Lambert... Posted 12 shutouts to go with
160 saves... Had a goals against average of 0.91... As a junior was
first-team all-league and third-team All-CIF... Won Golden Boot and
Golden Glove Awards at the Linfield and Loma Linda Tournaments.

PERSONAL: Born on March 16, 1988, in Valencia,
California... Parents are Dennis and Jill Andrews of Canyon Lake...
Has two brothers (Dustin and Caleb)... Kinesiology major whose
goals are to become a professional soccer player and a firefighter,
the latter occupation the same as his father... Enjoys surfing and
wakeboarding... Most memorable soccer thrill was scoring on team's
last penalty kick and then blocking the opponent's to win a
semifinal match... Credits his dad for most influence on his
career.
