Stetson took an early lead as Luis Lara Delgado scored on a penalty kick in the third minute to put the Hatters up 1-0. Stetson added to its lead in the 14th minute off a set piece from 30 yards out that led to a goal by Sheldon Sackey.
From that point on the Titans flipped a switch and picked up their energy, controlling a majority of the possession and turning to the attacking team.
Cruz answered the Hatters second goal just five minutes later, scoring his first goal of the match in the 19th minute from just inside the 18-yard box to make it a 2-1 game. Banihani and Jessy Sotelo assisted on the goal.
