FULLERTON, Calif. – With just over one minute remaining in the game Sebastian Cruz drilled a penalty kick for the game-winning goal as Cal State Fullerton defeated UC Davis 1-0 Saturday night at Titan Stadium.

For the second time this season, Cruz came up clutch for the Titans on a penalty kick late in the game. Cruz has a team-high six goals this season to go along with three assists to give him 15 points.

The Titans were continuously attacking looking to break through for goal and it eventually game in the 89th minute of action after Noah Dollenmayer was able to earn a penalty in the 18-yard box.
Fullerton earned its first Big West Conference win of the season with the victory over UC Davis to improve to 1-3 in conference play and 3-7-2 overall.
Andrea Bonavia had a great game in net for the Titans to give the team the opportunity to secure the three points late. Bonavia recorded six saves in the match and none bigger than in the 73rd minute when UC Davis had a breakout opportunity.

The Titans look to carry their momentum into its match Wednesday as they hit the road once again to face Cal Poly.
