BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer dropped its road contest to CSU Bakersfield by a final score of 1-0 Wednesday night.
Fullerton put the pressure on the Roadrunners throughout the match as they outshot Bakersfield 21 to 13 throughout 90 minutes. The Titans led in shots on goal with seven to the Roadrunners six.
CSU Bakersfield scored in the 11th minute of play on a questionable penalty kick. The Titans attacked CSU Bakersfield throughout the match earning three corner kicks, including two in the second half of play.
Cal State Fullerton looks to bounce back at home at Titan Stadium as it hosts UC Davis Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. PT.
