FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer fell to UC Santa Barbara by a final score of 4-2 Wednesday night at Titan Stadium.
The Titans (2-5-2, 0-1-0) got off to a fast start as Irving Arvizu scored in the fourth minute of play. Arvizu scored his first collegiate goal off a set piece assisted by Sebastian Cruz.

UC Santa Barbara answered back in the 15th minute of action on a goal by Salvador Aguilar. The Gauchos added one more goal in the first half to head into the locker room with a 2-1 lead.
The Gauchos scored in the 54th minute in the second half to take a 3-1 lead. Fullerton's Samuel Owusu responded in the 69th minute to narrow the Gauchos lead to 3-2. UC Santa Barbara put the game away with a goal in the 87th minute to take a 4-2 lead.

Fullerton looks to respond Saturday night on the road against UC San Diego. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. PT.
