FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer (2-4-1) scored three unanswered goals to defeat San Diego 3-1 Sunday evening at Titan Stadium.
After giving up the opening goal in the 22nd minute to San Diego, the Titans responded in the 28th minute on a goal by Samuel Owusu to tie the game at 1-1. Owusu now has three goals on the season.

Fullerton dominated in the second half as they controlled the ball throughout much of the 45 minutes. Sebastian Cruz broke the tie in the 77th minute on a great assist from Erick Serrano. Cruz has a team-high four goals this season.

Just a few seconds later in the 78th minute, Serrano scored his first collegiate goal to put the Titans up 3-1 on assists by Cruz and Charly Anguiano.

The Titans are back on the pitch Friday night at Titan Stadium against Santa Clara with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT.
