FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's soccer senior Christian Pinzon was drafted 47th overall in the MLS SuperDraft on Thursday afternoon by the Chicago Fire. 

Pinzon has scored 14 goals and distributed seven assists in his three seasons playing for the Titans. He started in all 20 games during the 2019 season and finished the year with a team-high 21 points on seven goals and seven assists. He wass named Top Drawer Soccer's National Player of the Week after leading the Titans to wins over Air Force and No. 14 Florida Gulf Coast, recording two goals and two assists in the two games. He helped lead the Titans to their best start in program history with an 8-0 start to the season and went on to earned First Team All-Conference honors and All-Far West Region Second Team honors.

As a sophomore in 2018, heppeared in all 21 games for the Titans and finished the season tied for second on the team with 12 points on a team-high six goals. He was named to the 2018 Big West Conference Honorable Mention.
