Men's Soccer Falls to Davis in Big West Tournament Semifinals

DAVIS, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer fell to UC Davis by a score of 2-0 in the Big West Tournament Semifinals Saturday afternoon at Aggie Soccer Field. 

Max Arfsten scored the Aggies first goal in the 15th minute of action. UC Davis then added to its lead in the 56th minute a goal by Adam Mickelson. 

While the Titans season comes to an end before the team wanted, it was still a successful year. Fullerton started the first nine games of the year undefeated, with a record of 8-0-1, setting a program record. At one point the Titans were ranked as high as No. 14 in the country. 

Paul-Andre Guerin recorded five shutouts throughout the season, giving him 20 for his career and setting the record for the most all-time in the history of the program. 

Christian Pinzon and Oscar Flores led the team in points with 21 and 20, respectively. Both are the most points in a season since Alex Heilmann recorded 26 in 2016. Pinzon had seven goals and seven assists on the year while Flores record seven goals and six assists.
