FULLERTON, Calif. – Following a dramatic win over UC Riverside in the final regular season game of the year, Cal State Fullerton men's soccer heads to Cal Poly for the first round of the Big West Conference Tournament Wednesday night. 

The Titans will face Cal Poly for the second time this season after falling to the Mustangs 3-1 on the road earlier this season. Fullerton is 21-14-1 all-time when facing Cal Poly with a 6-10-1 record at Alex G. Spanos Stadium. 

Fullerton is no stranger to making postseason runs on the road. Since Head Coach George Kuntz came to Cal State Fullerton in 2014, the Titans are 8-2 on the road in the Big West Conference Tournament including winning three championship games on the road. 

Christian Pinzon leads the team through the regular season with 21 points on seven goals and seven assists. His 21 points ranks tied for second in the Big West Conference. Oscar Flores is right behind Pinzon with 19 points on seven goals and five assists, ranking tied for fifth in the Big West.

Both Pinzon and Flores came up big for the Titans in Saturday's match against UC Riverside, converting on penalty kicks to earn the 2-1 victory. 

If the Titans are able to come out of San Luis Obispo with a victory they will face UC Davis Saturday on the road.
