SACRAMENTO, Calif. – With time winding down in double overtime against Sacramento State, Alex Juarez came up with a world class goal to give the Titans a 2-1 victory Saturday afternoon at Hornet Field.
The Titans earned a set piece from about 30 yards out with just a few minutes left in the match. Juarez was then in a perfect position to control the ball off a deflection from the set piece to score in the 109th minute of action for his first goal of the season.

With the win, Head Coach George Kuntz now has 200 career wins as a member of the Big West Conference. He is just the second coach in history to hit the 200 mark. Fullerton moves to 9-5-1 on the season with a 1-3 record in conference play.

Rei Dorwart scored the Titans first goal in the 52nd minute of action off a rebound from the Sacramento State goalkeeper for what was also his first goal of the season.

Sacramento State scored the equalizer in the 85th minute on a goal by Jaime Robles to tie the game at 1-1, sending the match to overtime.
The Titans return home to Titan Stadium Wednesday as they host UC Irvine with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. PT.
