FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer fell to Cal Monday night at Titan Stadium by a final score of 2-1 in a friendly match to kickoff the 2019 season.
The Titans fell behind early as Cal scored two goals in the first 20 minutes. However, the Titans didn't let it affect them, as they battled back throughout the half.
Fullerton settled down in the second half and came out of the locker room with much more poise and composure, showing the talent and skill they have as a team.
It didn't take long for the Titans to get back into the game as freshman Owen Lambe put Fullerton on the board in the 55th minute with his first collegiate goal. Christian Pinzon recorded the assist on the play after stealing the ball around midfield and making a perfect pass to Lambe.

Senior goalkeeper Paul-Andre Guerin played a great game, making four saves in his 77 minutes played. Fellow senior Chris Castillo replaced Guerin in the second half and played the final 12 minutes of regular time and 20 minutes of extra time.

The Ticket Office is located at the Titan House off of Gymnasium Drive at theeastern end of the Intramural Fields and is open from 10 am – 4 pm PT, Monday – Friday.

PARKING
CSF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
