SENIOR (2012): Had his best season in 2012, playing in 19 games, while starting in 12...he scored four goals and recording three assists (both ranked third on the team)...His four goals scored ranked third on the team, while also netting a team-leading tying two game-winning goals, which was also tied for fifth best in the conference...He netted a game-winning goal in a 3-2 double-overtime win at UC Riverside on Oct. 20 and a 1-0 win over UC Irvine on Oct. 27...his three assists ranked second on the club...was named an All-Big West honorable mention. 

JUNIOR (2011): Appeared in 11 matches in 2011, starting once in season the finale vs. Cal State Northridge on Nov. 5…Scored a goal in 4-3 loss to UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 29. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Blanco was a 3-year varsity letterman for Coach Barry Gardner at Valencia High School... all-league center midfielder and forward as a junior... graduated in 2008.

SANTA ANA COLLEGE: Gerzon played two seasons at forward for the Dons of Santa Ana College.

PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 19, 1990, in Mexico... parents are Alfredo Blanco and Maricela Cabanas of Placentia... has two sisters, Tannia and Melania... kinesiology major... enjoys boxing and skateboarding... works part-time for Universal Protection Service... credits his dad for most influence on is career: "He taught me the love of the sport."
