Bakersfield, Calif. - Both the Cal State Fullerton men's and women's teams took fourth place at the Cal State Bakersfield Invitational which concluded Tuesday at the Bakersfield Country Club.

Taylor Fowler and Deidre Crabtree each scored 164 (16 over) to pace the Titan women, who totaled 663 strokes over 36 holes. Dakota Duerr at 218 and Scott Rubzin at 221 paced the men, who totaled 889 strokes over 54 holes. Duerr shot a one-under 71 to finish sixth individually.

In men's team scoring, Cal Poly was the winner at 869 followed by Cal State Bakersfield at 874 and Cal State San Marcos at 886. In women's scoring, Cal Poly won with 635 ahead of UC Riverside at 642 and Cal State Northridge at 659.

The Titan women play this weekend at Dove Canyon.
