Mark Anguiano and Nick Ellis shot final rounds of two-under par 68 to help Cal State Fullerton move up four slots and finish in a tie for third place Tuesday at the 15th Annual Del Walker Men's Golf Invitational held at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach.

Scott Rubzin had the best 54-hole tourney score for the Titans with a 216 followed by Corey Gard at 219, Anguiano at 220, Ellis at 221 and Dave Lyons at 222. Fullerton's team score was 1,091, 41 over par and 15 strokes behind tourney winner Santa Clara (1,076), which edged host Long Beach State by one stroke.

Rubzin's score was good for a tie for 11th place.

Fullerton's next tournament is the inaugural Folino Invitational hosted by CSF at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine on March 21 and 22 following a "pro-am" fund-raising event on March 20.
