St. George, UT - Mark Anguiano shot a 2-under-par 70 Monday to lead Cal State Fullerton to a second-place standing at the midway point of the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational men's golf tournament hosted by Southern Utah.
Teammate Dakota Duerr shot par 72 as the Titans totaled 288 strokes, even par, to trail only the host school at 284 in the 18-team field.
Corey Gard and Ryan Tetrault each carded a 73 while Scott Rubzin shot a 76. John San Juan played as an individual and came in at one-under 71,
The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday.
