Newport Beach, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton is tied for ninth place after the first 36 holes Monday of the 54-hole Anteater Invitational Golf Tournament at the Big Canyon Country Club. The tourney concludes Tuesday.

The Titans scored a 304-295---599 or 23 strokes over par -- on the par 72 course to equal the score of Loyola Marymount. Arizona is the leader at 577, one over par.

Mark Anguiano led the Titans with a 75-73 for a 148. He was followed by Scott Rubzin at 78-73 and Corey Gard at 72-79 for 151s; Dakota Duerr at 79-73 for 152 and Nick Ellis at 84-76 for 160.
