SADDLEBACK COLLEGE: Ellis had two years of community college golfing experience at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo... in 2007-08 he was an all-state selection, placing third at the state tournament... was runnerup at the Tri-County Amateur... as team captain he led the Gauchos in 2008-09 with a 76.5 scoring average, finishing with the team's low round four times.
