Steve Gibson, a 2010 graduate of Long Beach State, is in his second season as an administrative assistant with the Cal State Fullerton men’s golf team after serving as an assistant coach with the program for three years (2011-13). The Orange, Calif., native helped the Titans win their first Big West Conference Championship in 2013.

Gibson played two seasons at Long Beach State (2009-10). As a member of the the LBSU program, Gibson played in 18 tournaments finishing twice in the top 10 and seven times in the top 20, while posting a round-best of 65 during the Del Walker Intercollegiate in 2008. Gibson also coaches junior golf camps at Super Sports Golf and Recreation Golf Center in Orange.
