FULLERTON, Calif. - Garrett Boe was awarded Big West Men's Golfer of the Month after two impressive outings, the conference announced Friday.

Boe recorded two top three finishes in February, golfing the Titans to being named back-to-back champions of the Orange County Collegiate and The Joust.

The season started strong for Boe after finishing third at the Orange County Collegiate with a 6-under par 210 (69-74-68).

Boe led the Titans through The Joust in Jurupa Valley, California, forcing a two-hole shootout at the end of the final round to break the tie for first place. At The Joust, Boe shot a 5-under par 208. He improved his shooting each round with a 73 and 68 in the first two rounds before shooting a 67 in the final round.

Boe looks to continue on this impressive run at the two-day GCU Invitational in Phoenix, Arizona starting March 13.
