Men's Golf in Fifth After Two Rounds of Big West Championship

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton remains in fifth place after two rounds of the Big West Championship with a score of 11-over par 587. 

Tegan Andrews leads the team individually with a 1-under par 143 to leave him in eighth place. Andrews shot a 72 in round one followed by a 71 in the second round. Garrett Boe is tied for 14th after shooting 2-over par 146 (72-74). 

Trevor McNary shot a 5-over par 149 to leave him tied for 19th place heading into the final round. McNary shot a 76 in the first round and a 73 in round two. Harry Doig is tied for 39th with a 14-over par 158 (75-83). Harry Fearn is tied for 43rd after shooting a 74 in the second round. Fearn was DQ'd in round one. 

UC Davis is in first place at 10-under par 566 while Thomas Huchison of UC Davis leads the field individually with a 9-under par 135. 

Cal State Fullerton is back on the links Tuesday morning for the third and final round of the Big West Championship beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT.
