EL MACERO, Calif. – Trevor McNary finished the El Macero Classic in second place after shooting 7-under par 209. McNary shot a 69 in round one followed by a 72 in round two before finishing off the tournament with a 68 to jump up from eight place to finish in second.
As a team the Titans finished the tournament in 13th place with a final score of 12-over par 876. Fresno State took first place, shooting 7-under par 857.
Harry Doig placed tied for 37th after shooting 4-over par 220 (73-72-75). Harry Fearn shot a 7-over par 223 (73-77-73) to leave him tied for 49th.
Tegan Andrews finished the tournament tied for 52nd with a score of 8-over par 224 (73-75-76). Brendan Ashman competed as an individual and also finished tied for 52nd with an 8-over par (79-72-73). Garrett Boe tied for 82nd with a 20-over par 236 (78-79-79).
Cal State Fullerton sets its sights on the Big West Championship beginning May 2 at the La Quinta Country Club.
