Men's Golf Wins Orange County Collegiate Classic

TEAM RESULTSINDIVIDUAL RESULTS

COTO DE CAZA, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton men's golf team took first place at the Orange County Collegiate Classic with a score of 17-over par 881. 

The Titans won by 5 strokes over UC Irvine.  They were tied with UC Irvine after the first two rounds of play.

Garrett Boe finished as the top finisher for the Titans and tied in 5th place with Tegan Andrews with 4-over par.  Boe had his best round of the tournament after shooting a 69 on the day, 3 under par.  Andrews also had his best round, as he shot a 72 even par.  

After being in second place yesterday, Harry Doig finished in 9th place 5 over par.  Doig stroked a 77 this morning, 5 over par.

Harry Fearn tied for 11th place after finishing 6-over par.  Fearn stroked a 75 in the third round, 3-over par.

Trevor McNary came in 5th for the Titans in the team category.  McNary finished 14-over par by stroking a 79.  

Competing individually, Brannon Fahrny finished tied for 18th place with a 9-over par.  He stroked a 77 in the third round.  Matthew Schafer tied for 25th place with a 12-over par.  Schafer shot a 76 in the third round.  

Dylan Walsh (+28), Brendan Ashman (+29), Jack Smyth (+34), and Cameron Xiao (+40) also competed as individuals.

The Titans will be back in action February 21-22, 2021 at The Joust in Jurupa Valley, Calif.
