FRESNO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's golf took first place at the Nick Watney Invitational with a score of 7-under par 845.
Fullerton dominated the tournament, beating the second place team by five strokes as Sacramento State finished 2-under par.
Harry Doig led the Titans individually, wrapping up the tournament at 3-under par 210 to place tied for third. Doig shot a 72 in round one followed by a 68 and 70 in rounds two and three.
Garrett Boe finished the Nick Watney Invitational tied sixth after shooting 2-under par 211. Boe shot a 71 in rounds one and three with a 69 in the second round.
Tegan Andrews had a tournament and career-best 66 in the third and final round of the tournament as he tied for ninth at 1-under par 212.
Trevor McNary finished the tournament in 26th at 6-over par 219. Matthew Schafer finished tied for 27th after shooting 7-over par 220. Brendan Ashman competed as an individual and placed tied for 44th with a score of 11-over par 224.
