Erie, Colo. - After 36 holes of the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, the Cal State Fullerton men's golf team find themselves in fifth place after posting a combined score of 13-under par 563.
Leading the way for the Titans was Jack Dyer, who shot sizzling rounds of 66-68 to finish the day at 10-under par and tied for second place. Close behind was Derek Castillo, who is currently tied for 12-place with a 4-under par 140. Castillo tallied an eagle on a par 4 hole in the opening round.
Matthew Rafter is tied for 22nd-place with a -1, 143. Garrett Boe came in at +1, 145. Trevor McNary and Dalton Daniel are tied for 46th-place and 52nd-place respectively, with scores of +4, 148 and +5, 149.
All participants will return for a final 18 holes on Tuesday. The tournament is being played at the par 72, 7703-yard Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo.
