NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – After two rounds at the UCI Invitational Monday, Cal State Fullerton men's golf is in first place with a score of 3-under par 545.
The end of the second round was suspended due to darkness and will resume Tuesday morning. This may affect the Titans score, as three players were unable to complete the second round
The Titans bounced back after finishing the first round in third place and are the only team shooting under par heading into Tuesday's final round.
Matt Wilson leads the Titans individually after shooting a two-under par with two holes left, leaving him tied for second place overall.
Dalton Daniel and Derek Castillo are not far behind the lead as they are tied for 5th place after shooting even par on the day.
Grand Canyon is in second place after finishing the day with a score of 4-over par 580. Santa Clara is in third place with a score of 7-over par 583. Grand Canyon's Filip Lundell leads the field after finishing 4-under par 140.
The Titans return to action for the rest of round two and all of round three Tuesday morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. PT. You can follow all the action of round three at Golfstat.com.
