PHOENIX, Ariz. – After two rounds at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic Monday afternoon, the Titans sit in ninth place with a score of 3-under par 573. Fullerton shot a 289 in round and improved in round two with a 284.

Sam Houston State leads the field with a score of 19-under par while UT San Antonio sits just behind them at 16-under par.

Mark Cobey leads the Titans individually after shooting a 2-under par 142 through the first two rounds. Cobey was tied for 32nd after round one with a score of 72 even at par but was able to jump up in round two with a 2-under par 70.

Matt Wilson is not far behind Cobey at tied for 22nd second at 1-under par 143. Wilson also improved from a tie for 32nd after shooting a 1-under par 71 in round two.

Martin Manalo is tied for 34th at 1-over par 145 after shooting a 1-over par in round one followed up by a score of 72 even at par in the second round.

Dalton Daniel is tied for 42nd after shooting a 2-over par 146. Daniel recorded a 72 in round one but fell back in round two with a score of 74.

Derek Castillo is tied for 51st place at 3-over par 147 on day one. Castillo struggled to start the tournament, shooting a 4-over par 76 to begin the day but was able to bounce back in the second round with a 1-under par 71 to finish the day.

Michael Sharkey is competing in the tournament as an individual and tied for 74th at 8-over par 152. Sharkey shot a 4-over par 76 in both rounds.

The Titans look to finish the tournament strong in the third and final round Tuesday as they are in pairings with UC Davis and Utah Valley with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. PT.
