Irving, Texas – Through one round and the ORU/SFA Spring Break Challenge the Titans sit tied for second place at 6-over par 290. Fullerton is just five strokes back of the leader, Rice.
Fullerton was led by Mark Cobey and freshman Dalton Daniel who are tied for ninth place after round one, shooting a 1-over par 72.
Matt Wilson and Derek Castillo are just behind their fellow teammates with a score of 2-over par 73 which leaves them tied in 19th place heading into round two.
Martin Manalo rounds out the Titans squad with a 4-over par 75 which has him tied for 32nd place following the completion of 18 holes on day one.
The Titans return to the greens Tuesday with pairings against Stephen F. Austin and Oral Roberts beginning at 9:50 a.m. PT.
