CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. - Samford held on to win the team championship at the sixth-annual Folino Invitational Presented by Microsemi Corporation, while Long Beach State's Daniel Chian claimed the individual title following the third and final round of play at Industry Hills Golf Club on Tuesday.

The Titans were disqualified on day one of the tournament after recording two incorrect scorecards, but were able to play the third round shooting a team total of 298.

Samford shot a third-round score of 296 to stay in the lead, finishing the tournament at 10-over-par 874. The Bulldogs were followed by Long Beach State (886, +22), UC Riverside (891, +27), UC Santa Barbara (892, +28), and Utah Valley (908, +44).
