Kenneth Alexander, a 6-foot-7, 230-pound forward from West Valley Community College in Saratoga, California, has signed a national letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Cal State Fullerton. The Richmond, California, resident and graduate of Berkeley High School will have two seasons of eligibility with the Titans.

Alexander averaged 9.7 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Vikings, who were state runnersup with a 33-4 record in 2005-06. Teammate Marcus Morgan, a 6-foot-6 sophomore forward, signed earlier with the Titans and Head Coach Bob Burton, who was head coach at West Valley from 1980-81 to 1985-86 and again from 1987-88 through 2001-02.

"Kenneth is very long, very athletic, a very good finisher and he understands the game," said Titans' Assistant Coach Andy Newman, who also played at West Valley under Burton. "He will play the 4 or 5 position for us. He's a very good post defender and he can score with his back to the basket. He rebounds everything."

Alexander earned second-team All-Coast Conference, South Division honors. The Vikings won the conference title with an 11-1 record and advanced to the state championship game, losing to undefeated Fullerton College, 81-67, in Fresno on March 12.
