Irvine, Calif. - Four Cal State Fullerton basketball players -- two women and two men -- earned All-Big West Conference recognition from the head coaches today as the 2010-11 teams were announced.

Junior guard Megan Richardson made the women's first team for the second year in a row with senior guard Lyndsey Grove earning honorable mention. Junior forward Andre Hardy earned the men's Newcomer of the Year Award while senior forward Jer'Vaughn Johnson earned honorable mention for the second time.

The conference's regular season champions captured the top individual awards. On the women's side, Cal Poly got player of the year in Rachel Clancy and coach of the year in Faith Mimnaugh. For the men, Long Beach saw Casper Ware tabbed player of the year and Dan Monson coach of the year.

The Big West post-season tournament starts Tuesday with four women's first-round games at campus sites of the top four seeds. The tourney moves to Anaheim's Honda Center for the first time this year with four men's first-round games on Thursday, women's and men's semifinals on Friday and the finals on Saturday.
