Frank Robinson Wins Best Sixth Man Honors

Irvine, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton sophomore Frank Robinson today was selected 2005-06 Big West Conference Best Sixth Man in a vote of the head coaches.

Robinson came off the bench in 21 of the team's 27 contests to date, averaging almost 23 minutes per game. The 6-foot-4 guard from Los Angeles is averaging 11.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He is among the Big West leaders in field goal percentage (.478), 3-point field goal percentage (.450) and steals (1.63 steals per game).

Robinson has started the last five games and averaged 15.8 points in that capacity.

Defensive player of the year was guard Dedrick Bates of UC Riverside and the best hustle player award went to UC Santa Barbara's Chris Devine.
